Dave Millman Vocals/Guitar-
Has been singing and playing professionally since 1975. He was
a cofounder of the original Tall in the Saddle and played in numerous
bands from high school through college. Has written and recorded
several original songs with the latest in the hands of the producer
of N Sync. Dave makes his living as a bank executive and
frustrated golfer.Gary
Frahm lead
guitar: Has been playing locally for almost 20 years. In addition
to playing with Tall in the Saddle, he also plays guitar with
the Baltimore-based modern/classic rock group, Spiral.
Ellen
Nusgart vocals/keyboards:
Ellen has been singing with professional groups since age 11.
She had professional piano training at the Peabody Conservatory
of Music in Baltimore for five years and taught herself to play
guitar. During college, she performed in coffeehouses in the D.C.
and Georgetown areas. Later, she joined the Baltimore Symphony
Chorus as an alto performer. Her contemporary band experience
as a lead vocalist included work with several well-known Baltimore
party bands such as Gratitude, After Six, and The Romanos.
Cliff
Perlow keyboards/guitar:
Cliff, a native of New York City, was classically trained on piano
from the age of 5. He is self taught on guitar and bass. Cliff
first teamed with Dave Millman, starting their first band called
Headin' West before the two helped to start Tall in the Saddle.
He also performed with Mason Dixon Band, a southern rock, guitar-oriented
band. Bernie
Staab drums:
Bernie's drumming began in church at age 10. Throughout the years,
he has played in many Baltimore-area groups, covering numerous
styles: Top 40, country rock, club music, even trop-rock. From
folk masses to CYO dances; from coffee houses to nightclubs; and
from weddings and bull roasts to bar mitzvahs and Ocean City boardwalk
concerts, Bernie has done it all.
Sherri
Cohen vocals:
Sherri, the newest member of Tall in the Saddle, has performed
in musical productions since childhood. She had vocal training
in college and worked at Hershey Park as a singer and dancer.
Jeff
Snyder bass:
Jeff began playing at age 12. He later played keyboards for two
local Baltimore bands. However, he then adopted the bass guitar,
excelling ever since. During the 1970s, Jeff played with various
bands in College Park. He resumed his professional musical career
when he joined Tall in the Saddle in 1999.
